I started
work as a clerk while I was studying
for my undergraduate degree. I then
worked for a year with the Commonwealth
Employment Service. After that I worked
as a teacher in both the Catholic and
public systems in both mainstream and
special education.
In 1973 I started work
as a TAFE counsellor in New South Wales
and continued to work as a counsellor and
Senior Counsellor until 1989 when I moved
to Adelaide.
After a brief period working in the workers
compensation area, I started in private
practice in Adelaide and from 1992 in Mildura,
Victoria.
During this time I have provided consultancy
services to various national companies
and governments in the area of trauma services
and Employee Assistance Management.
I have continued to work in private practice
and now work full time in Adelaide.
